Hello! My name is Terri and I am a vintage booth owner in Springfield, MO. From the earliest of my memories, I watched my mother create a beautiful home on a tight budget by shopping at local flea markets and vintage shops. She had an eye for mixing old and new, creating a light, airy, and comfortable space for us to live.

Years ago, when my mom opened up a booth in a vintage market and the one next to her came available, I was bit by the vintage-loving bug. 🙂 Those days are some of the most precious of memories I have with my mom. We worked our booths side by side and hunted for treasures together. She always prospered from her efforts too!

After many years of raising kids, I have the time to give to one of my favorite things again. Though my mom has been gone for years now, I feel close to her with every flea market I peruse and vignette I design in my booths. She definitely had a different style than me (she loved wallpaper borders with farm animals lol), but we share a love for calm colors, simple and cozy decor, beautiful glassware, and repurposing old things in new ways.

As my husband, Jason, and I are now empty nesters, we enjoy traveling and hunting for treasures together, though we are on the hunt for very different things! 🙂 He collects vintage game consoles, games, and movies. He is a great help to me (muscle) and makes this gig all the more enjoyable. We share about our road trips and sourcing spots in our Instagram stories.

I opened my first 4′ x 8′ curated booth in Freakin’ Antiquin’ Vintage Market in 2023 and have loved every minute. After 6 months I had the opportunity to expand to a larger 4′ x 11′ booth as well as open a second location in a nearby town. Then after another year, I closed the second location but then opened another one closer to my home at The Vintage Peddler. These two locations are considered sister stores but have their own distinct personalities. It’s been challenging and fun but also a lot of hard work to make this a profitable business. In the future, I will be sharing here more about what that entails, but for now, I just wanted a space to direct friends and customers to my physical store space.
